WHAT YOU NEED

First you will need a magnetic bracelet wire. If you look at the first picture you will see what one looks like. All you need to do is twist off the removable end to string beads onto it.

Next you will need some beads. You can choose anything you like. You may even place charms on it as you go. I chose some carved wooden beads and some small metal spacer beads that were molded in different shapes(shown in center right of second picture).

Lay out the beads you have chosen in a row. You may use a wash cloth or dish towel to avoid having the beads roll away from you and if you drop one it will not disappear onto the floor or into the void underneath your work area.

When you get very close to the end you will need to push the last one or two onto the end of the wire. It is very stiff so if you just hold the other end still as you push it will not slide away from you. Next grab the end of the wire with a pair of needle nose pliers or in a pinch you may use a pair of tweezers. While holding the wire end, use your other hand to twist the bracelet end back onto the wire. Twist till snugger than finger tight and Voila! You are done!

Easiest jewelry item ever and looks professional. Magnetically attaches to itself so it will be easy for her to put it on herself with no assistance.

ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE

Pandora and lampwork beads are very popular. You can purchase many beads that are made for the bracelet blanks. The difference is that these bracelet blanks are not stiff. The same procedure applies, but you are not required to fill the bracelet up. These bracelets are meant to be added to throughout a period of time or even a lifetime. You can choose a few beads you think she would like and maybe a charm. Add a couple of smaller metal spacer beads made to fit this type of bracelet and you are finished. Many people start out with just a couple of beads and a couple of spacers.

Just remember that this is something you or she will need to add to over time. It is nice to give a bead or two at Christmas time or on birthdays to add to the bracelet. The beads do not need to match. They will have specific meanings to you and your girl.

I have linked some Amazon and E-bay offerings below for example purposes. I do not own one of these myself so cannot offer personal pictures of one.

Hopefully this has been helpful to you as an easy gift that will be appreciated.
